Alcare Place is a non-profit addiction treatment centre located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Alcare Place treats men over the age of 19 who struggle with an alcohol, drug, and/or gambling addiction. The facility is capable of housing up to 12 residents. Programs follow the 12-step approach to recovery where clients partake in regular group and individual meetings during the day and have the ability to chose which 12-step meeting they would like to attend in the evening. The facility is a house-like building.
