Chrysalis Society (New Dawn)

Chrysalis Society (New Dawn) is a government-licensed addiction treatment centre located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Chrysalis Society primarily focuses on treating women in the first-stage of recovery stabilization. To get started, women require 72 hours of abstinence for entry into New Dawn. Their program includes a stable routine that includes: education groups, weekly sessions with a counsellor, chores and meal preperation, yoga and creativity groups, community Step-meetings and more. They also provide New Day & New Way recovery programs for graduates of New Dawn and/or other licensed first-stage programs. The graduate programs are meant to help women transition back to their independent lives.
