Crosbie House is a non-profit addiction treatment centre located in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Crosbie House primarly treats those experiencing problems with difficult addictions like drugs and/or alcohol. Their facility is capable of housing 10 patients in their 28-day treatment program. Each week of treatment is dedicated to a different aspect of recovery—addiction and its sources, feelings and emotions, family dynamics and tools, and avoiding relapse. During the treatment, clients participate in various group and individual counselling sessions, and activities to assist them with their recovery. The facility is a bungalow house-like building with features like a fitness centre, outdoor relaxation space, a spiritual room, and meeeting rooms.
