Teen Challenge is a non-profit addiction treatment centre located in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Teen Challenge focuses on treating youth who experience problems with a drug and/or alcohol addiction. Their facility is capable of housing 24 patients but are expanding to create more rooms for women ages 18 or older. Their treatment program is 12-months, where clients work on developing their personal skills, partake in group sessions and community living, and enhance their creativity through a variety of activities.
