The Stable Grounds – Therapy for PTSD

The Stable Grounds (Therapy for PTSD) is an mental health and addiction treatment centre located in Rodney, Ontario. The Stable Grounds primarily focuses on treating current or former first responders experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI). Clients must be free of any illicit substances prior to admission. Their facility is capable of housing 10 clients, all of which are part of a 30, 60, or 90-day treatment program. During this time, clients participate in counselling sessions, yoga, and other household activites. Clients also have the option to choose a wide variety of elective activities, like hiking, caring for the horses, and movies. The ranch-like facility features amenities like outdoor space, a stable for the horses, fitness centre, and communal rooms.
